 このサイトのこれらのページの中で、一番多くお問い合わせを頂くアルバムです(クレジットも気合を入れて書き写してしまいました)。

 #9の “The Alluvial Plains” が、一時期エフエム東京の「ジェットストリーム」のエンディング曲として使われていました。その所為か、この手の音楽のアルバムにしては珍しく、発売から10年以上を経ても店頭で見掛けることがあります(購入して聴いてみたいという方は、諦めずに探しましょう :-))。

 しかしながら、それ以外の曲も決して印象は薄くなく、シンセサイザー全盛の作りではあるものの、曲の懐の大きさには感嘆します。それは、参加メンバーを見ても納得で、Mark Isham を筆頭に大御所の名前が連なっています。個人的には、#9だけ拾うのではなくて、全編通して聴いて頂きたいと思います。見かけに寄らず豪華な一枚であることに間違いはありません。
